Play Metro Station
The proposal is to create a unique and immersive experience for the launch of PlayStation 5 by taking over a metro station in Dubai and turning it into Play Metro Station. The futuristic shape of the station would be inspired by the design of the PS5 console, and it would be located on the blue line, fitting with the console's colours. The station would offer visitors the chance to try out the PS5 at the stop and purchase the console at a store on-site. Additionally, a PS5 with the latest titles could be installed in the Gold Class carriage for an even more exciting ride. To make this idea a reality, a partnership between Sony and RTA would be necessary. Overall, the Play Metro Station would provide a memorable experience for commuters and gamers alike, bringing the world of gaming into the real world in a unique and exciting way.
Play Space Station
For the world launch event, we will turn the International Space Station (ISS) into the IPSS - International Play Space Station. We will send the new PS5 to the ISS and have astronauts play Spiderman: Miles Morales. Their experience will be live-streamed back to earth. This will have great PR value and showcase the PS5 as out of this world.
PlayStation Museum
Near Dubai Mall, on The Dubai Fountain, we will build a mezzanine on top of the water where we will place the PlayStation Museum which visitors will have to travel by Jet Ski or boat to reach.
At the museum, half the content will showcase the new PS5 and the other half will showcase the history and evolution of the Playstation including old titles and consoles.
Visitors will also be able to try out the new PS5 and exclusive titles.
PlayStation Lakes
Similar to the Heart Lakes of Dubai, the iconic PS5 buttons will get their very own lakes in the middle of Al Qudra desert that will be large enough to be on the map and be seen from space.
Giant Gaming Screens

We will take over cinemas all over the country, where fans will test the new PS5 where they will play with the best image and sound quality

The box
-A Giant cube with all-around LED/Projection
-Promoters to be placed at the 4 corners of the cube
-It would be placed in locations like the Dubai Mall – Star Atrium, Mall of the Emirates – Central Galleria, or a location of choice.
Mechanics:
1. The screens will play in a loop content related to PlayStation
2. One of the screens will have an interactive experience (video)
3. It will invite people to share images of The Box with #PlayStation5*
4. After The launch, The Box will be open and ready for the players to enter inside and try the PS5 first hand on the cube’s interior walls (Each wall will have a console)
5. Customers that have a PSN account will have access to a VIP Queue / Fast Track
